Chocolate's Story...
She's an awesome dog, has the most beautiful amber eyes. I think she's a Chow mix, she looks like a Chow I once had.

Anyway, she's really mellow but loves going on walks. Is strong but pretty good on the leash. She is 100% housebroken. I guess her age to be 5 or so judging by her teeth and her calm demeanor. She pretty much ignores other dogs, is intrigued by but seems a little scared of cats. Not sure how that will go once she gets more comfortable. She's cautious but friendly towards strangers. I have never heard this dog bark. I can't think of a single bad thing about her. Oh, she doesn't like the crate, but I leave her alone with run of the house and she's fine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chocolate, a Loudonville Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever for sale in Loudonville, or seeking a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Loudonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loudonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loudonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loudonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
