Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quincy is a big boy! He is a handsome shiny black boy, 3 years old, weighs 90 lbs and is a lovable goofy boy. Quincy was an owner-surrender and had been kept in an outdoor kennel for most of his short life. His owner realized this was not good and turned him over to Lucky Lab Rescue. Quincy is of average height, but he is a solid stocky build and he is loving his new life. He loves to be around people and other dogs and is thriving on the companionship he has found. Quincy would be considered a low to medium energy boy. He gets along very well with his canine buddies although the smaller dogs are intimidated with him because of his size, but Quincy just wants to be friends. He loves his humans and likes the hugs and attention he gets. Quincy has not had any formal training and would do great in any training classes as he is eager to please. He does walk pretty well on a lead once the initial excitement of going for a walk wears off. He is a strong boy though and pulls at times. All he wants is love and to be someone’s buddy. He would make a great companion for a family with older children (because of his size) or the single person looking for a walking/running partner or to someone just wanting to give him a loving home. Quincy has been neutered, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. He is also crate trained and kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. If you are interested in learning more about our boy Quincy, please complete the online application and indicate Quincy in the notes section.
