Charlotte's Story...
Charlotte, sweet Charlotte! This lovely young lady is petite and pretty. She was an excellent mamma to her babies, but now she's in retirement from motherhood (DOB 4/16/09). Charlotte loves to be petted and will jump up on the bed or a table and start purring, asking for attention. She enjoys a nightly snack, and seems to be able to tell exactly when it is 10:00 p.m., because she never misses her 10:00 p.m. snack break! This little sweetie pie gets along well with her foster brother and sister cats, and also lives with dogs. Dogs don't bother Charlotte a bit, and dogs like her a lot. This wonderful gal has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/Feluk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Charlotte in her foster home. Her adoption fee is $135. (M&DS)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlotte, a Owatonna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
