My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brooke is a 4.5 year old lynx point Ragdoll mix, with long soft fur. She is petite at 8 pounds. Brooke lives with a younger active cat, which she mostly ignores, and four small dogs. While she gets along with the dogs, her owner thinks she would prefer to be an only cat or with one other mellow cat. Brooke is a very independent girl and would prefer to have her owner's time. For meals, she prefers to free feed and graze vs being fed a portion in the morning and again in the evening. She will take her time eating. She prefers kibble to wet can or raw food. She likes her fur combed while she eats.

The perfect home for Brooke would be a calm, quiet home with no young children.
Brooke likes to have the availability of high and low places where she can hide out.

If she has the opportunity she will climb into your book case. She knows her name and comes when she is called. She will "hunt" for mice and hide them in area rugs and engage in laser fun for a short time.

Brooke has great agility! Her owner has seen her fly over and clear a 31" tall baby gate. She only likes to be held on her terms. She likes her chin scratched and head and ears scrunched and her shoulders massaged.

She is a very clean girl and likes two litter boxes with pine cat litter. She likes her litter box cleaned daily. Brooke does not like her nails trimmed and if you try you will need a second person to help, so either trips to the groomers or nail covers would be a good idea for her.

She gets a cat Cosequin a day. You have to put it in the back of her mouth. If you sprinkle on her food she will not eat her food.
