Gideon is such a great dog! He is happy, loving, and he listens! He knows how to sit and lay down. After a few minutes running free outside and interacting during the photo shoot, all he wanted to do was lay in the grass and relax. The shelter thinks Gideon is a 2 year old, 23 pound Beagle, but who knows. You would need a DNA test to figure out all breeds that went in to making this dog. But you've got to come visit Gideon and fall under the spell of his charm. Gideon came to the shelter as a stray on 8/12. Gideon was found left in a hotel room without food or water. It seems his owner wanted to check out of his room, and also his dog's life, in one step. The shelter was so full that he's spent many days back in overflow, off limits to the public. So he's already been there 12 days but now he is out on the main floor so it is his turn for a chance at adoption! Gideon is up to date on shots and has been neutered, heartworm tested negative, and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He's in run 14 and his ID is 558641.
