Branson's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Branson's Story...
Branson is a gorgeous, outgoing, 1 1/2 year old (as of 8/8/13) mail Maine Coon cat. He is very dog friendly (with dogs who like cats, of course) and is okay with other cats, too. He enjoys being the center of attention, especially at meal time. :) He keeps fit by chasing laser pointers as often as you're willing to play. When he's tired of running around, he likes to snuggle up by your side and receive kitty massages. Branson is neutered, current on vaccines, and litter trained. He is ready for his forever home and he hopes it's with you!

The adoption fee is $50. If interested in adopting, please visit to complete the adoption application online or go to for more details on adoption through MAS Rescue. Just fill it in and email it back. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. No guarantees are implied.

Cats are NOT to be de-clawed, and must remain indoor pets only.

Remember adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your companion; cats could live 20 years or more!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Branson, a Baltimore Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
