Lilou's adoption fee is $250.

People are Lilou’s favorite pastime. She loves people; whether you want to go for a walk, car ride or kick back and watch TV, Lilou is happy as long as she can join you. Her foster mom does work and Lilou seems reasonably content with the company of the other dogs. Ideally she should have a canine companion, not necessarily a dachshund. She does not particularly interact with the other dogs but takes comfort knowing she is not alone.

Lilou loves to roam the secure fenced in backyard at her foster home. She has been blind for the last 4 years and recently lost most of her hearing so her nose is the major source of her information (and entertainment with all those scents in the backyard). She still enjoys her leash walks and steps out quite confidently, at a nice pace. She is very well house trained and lets you know when she has to go outside. She is in the process of losing weight. Lilou is 10.5 years old. If you are looking for an undemanding, loving companion, Lilou is the girl for you.
