Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet TYSON, a 2 year old that is primarily shih-tzu, although we're told he might shed a little so there may be more mix in him. He weighs about 16.7 lbs and could use a little dieting, but he is perfectly healthy and housebroken and has all his shots.
TYSON's mom became ill and had to send him to rescue. He misses her, and is a little shy around new people at first. Once he knows you, he clings to you and wants to always be around you. He is unsure at first with someone new, so we don't think he'd be a good dog for a home with young children that may scare him. Older kids that respect his need to 'get to know you' would be fine.
TYSON likes to play with his doggie foster brother, but is perfectly content being on his own. He is currently being fostered in BREVARD county. To learn more about adopting him, go to www.coastalpoodlerescue.org/poodles/poodledetail.cfm?dogID=1716
APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.
Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org
