My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

So, here’s another cruddy name for a tall, handsome red male. I’m Gobi. I’m a little shy around men, but I love Uncle Steve who does turnout on Sundays. I’ve already learned to play with toys in the kennel play area, and run up to the gate to greet volunteers coming to visit us. It won’t be long before I am one confident greyhound ready for foster training. After that, I’m off to the moon, or your couch!

Gobi is 4 and is not cat tolerant. It appears that he may not be able to live with small dogs as he is very interested in them on his walks. Gobi loves to chase a tennis ball. He is now in foster.

FOSTER UPDATE:

While Gobi just arrived in foster, he has already mastered house breaking and learned to climb stairs. He is still working on being comfortable with tile. There have been no incidents of chewing or getting into things he shouldn't. Gobi gets along with the resident senior greyhound. He will make someone a great companion.
