Little Bit's Story...
After roaming the streets of San Leandro for several weeks, Little Bit jumped for joy to find a foster home with two Dusty Paws volunteers and their resident dogs. Little Bit is as sweet as she is cute, obediently following her humans around and carousing with her canine friends. She is close to being house-trained. Little Bit loves to go for walks and get treats and will show her appreciation by giving little kisses and snuggling up to you. Give this little girl (under 10 lbs.) the chance to be your new companion, and you’ll have a friend for life.

Note! Any inquiries about this companion animal will only be answered after completion of an on-line application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Bit, a Castro Valley Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
