Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Winston! Winston just turned 6 in July and is a wonderful, happy go lucky kind of guy! He loves to play with toys but doesn't love it when other dogs try to take his toys! He does well with other dogs but his new family will need to be understanding of his toy possessive issues and try to do individual playtimes when it comes to toys if other dogs are present. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate during the day but prefers a comfy dog bed at night time. Like a typical bulldog, he LOVES attention and will bark at you to get it! Winston does not do well on a leash and would prefer brief play sessions in a fenced in back yard. We will require his new home have a fenced in yard for him to run and play. However, Winston just had palate surgery (often required in the bulldog breed) to shorten his soft palate to help him breathe better. He also has a small trachea which can contribute to him going into heat stroke so he'd like for his new owner to understand his special needs and not allow him to be outdoors for very long periods of time, especially when it's hot out.
Winston's mom says if you like a perfect lawn, Winston may not be the dog for you as he likes to kick excessively after doing his business.
