Ponyboy Curtis's Story...
Ponyboy Curtis was the only survivor from a litter of 3. His mommy is a tiny chihuahua rescued from the shelter. Unaware that she was pregnant, she gave birth! It's a miracle that even one puppy survived! Ponyboy has been in a loving foster home with other dogs, cats and small children. He loves everyone! He is in training to make potty only outside. He is currently kept indoors except for potty time and walks. He is almost 4 months old!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ponyboy Curtis, a Los Angeles Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
