Tiffany's Story...
Tiffani is a stunning torte point Siamese x. She's extremely friendly and affectionate and has gorgeous BIG blue eyes. She was transferred to Katie’s Place from another shelter in 2013. Poor Tiffani was in rough shape when she was first surrendered to the shelter. She had an abscess and eye problems. Her fur was dry and sparse. To top it off she was very timid and scared. We don’t know what this poor girl went through before finding herself with us, but we are guessing it was not pleasant. Her medical issues are cleared up and she is looking much better. Tiffani ignores the other cats in her pen and usually finds a quiet hidey hole where she can sleep in peace. She still cowers a bit when you approach her but is very accepting of attention and will purr softly while you pet her. She is even getting to the point where she will roll over slightly onto her back and expose her belly when she’s feeling safe. This is a very positive sign that sweet little Tiffani will flourish in a loving, safe, quiet home. She will need to go into a home with no small children. She would probably be ok with other cats as long as they aren’t too boisterous. Tiffani is about 7 years old and it’s about time she finds her forever loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiffany, a Maple Ridge Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Maple Ridge, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Maple Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
