Mini was found as a stray in Bakersfield and rescued last minute on her way to the "bump room" at a local pound where animals are put to death. What a loss to the world this would have been! This little girl is bursting with energy and love. She loves playing with her canine-sister at her foster home, hunting for dragonflies, and jogging with her people. She's excellent on a leash, and will kiss on a first date – with tongue. Yes, toddlers too. She just can't help it. Of course Mini is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door, what do you take her for? Her coat is as shiny as silk, yet needs very little attention, she barely sheds and takes good care of herself. Her freckled socks could be borrowed from a German Pointer, her chocolate color and amber eyes show hints of an Australian Kelpie. She's as cute as a Chihuahua, as fierce as a Greyhound and as loving as a lab. A fantastic all-in-one dog in one sweet package. Visitors beware: might make you fall in love at first sight.
