Fiona's Story...
Fiona arrived to the Lapeer Shelter and remained on hold for weeks due to a court case that involved Fiona's horrible conditions! Fiona had severe mange, yeast infections, and bacterial infection. Fiona is now doing FABULOUS, her mange is healing fast, her infections are cleared up, she is UTD on her vaccines, micro chipped, and now spayed!!!!! Fiona is now looking for her FUREVER home! She is approx. 6 months old, loves others dogs, cats, and children!! Fiona is deaf but responds quickly to hand signals, is house trained, and walks good on a leash! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Hadley American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier for sale in Hadley, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hadley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hadley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hadley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hadley paves the way for another one to be saved.
