My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rookie and Teddy:

Teddy is a 9 year old Black and white boston terrier. He is super sweet and loves to burrow in his burrow bed, under a blanket, or just on your lap. He is a lover and prefers to be with his people as much as possible. He adores the park or a yard where he can chase after a tennis ball and then sunbathe - his favorite position is on his belly - arms and legs outstretched sitting up straight with ears perked in sphinx position. He has a cute crooked little tale and a wicked funny snore when he gets into a deep sleep! He is great with kids.

Rookie is a 6 year old brown and white boston. He has the energy of a 2 year old puppy and the strength of an ox!! He and his brother LOVE to play and wrestle and roll together and playfight very well with one another. Rookie is a bit of an attention hog and will push his way, with that big muscular body of his, to get to the front of the line for scratches and hugs and love. We imagine it is what he did within his litter to get to mom and it just stuck! He is obsessed with squirrels and if you can find a park where they dwell and can let him loose, it is quite entertaining! He is also an avid swimmer. He has a retriever heart and will boldly jump into the ocean for a ball. And if you don't have a gate around your pool, expect to have a swim partner in the water!

Both are potty trained and up to date with shots. They have never had anything more than an ear infection here and there and some skin allergies that simply require some cream during allergy season. They are the picture of health according to our vet and Teddy's teeth are apparently pristine! ;-)

Incredibly sadly, the couple who were Teddy & Rookie's parents recently had a baby that developed a terrible allergy to the dogs shortly after his 1st birthday and though they have made several attempts to use allercare and other products to make the environment with them at their home more tolerable for him in the last year, it has become something that is too damaging to him to continue to force, so it with the utmost sorrow that they must try to find them a new, loving home. These brothers would love to stay together and make a great pair.
