Flaxy - courtesy's Story...
Flaxy - 2 year old petite mix-breed. She has the personality and color of a Golden Retrieve but is MUCH smaller - only 30 lbs! The shelter listed her as 8 years old since she was so depressed and quiet. She would not make eye contact and never wagged her tail. The moment we put her in the car to take her home, she was a different dog: smiling non-stop, prancing around with a funny little high step, and constantly wagging her pretty little tail. She's perfect with large and small dogs, rides well in a car, great on leash. Friendly with strangers, good with kids. She's an all-round fantastic dog! If you are interested in Flaxy, please contact Charlotte Bell at Yellow Brick Road at (310) 606-5507 or email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flaxy - courtesy, a Redondo Beach Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
