Sammy's Story...
WE WILL BE AT UNLEASHED AT 4333 ARDEN WAY, SACRAMENTO (NEXT TO WHOLE FOODS) ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5 FROM 11-3. PLEASE COME BY TO SEE US!

This handsome distinguished "gentleman" was saved from euthanasia just in time! Sammy was actually adopted from the very shelter in the Central Valley where his life hung in the balance. Can you believe his owners never came to reclaim him. Lucky for us, our volunteer in the area notified NorCal immediately. In a moment's notice, life got a whole lot better for this fabulously sweet, gentle natured boy. There's no doubt that Sammy is eternally grateful--his tail never stops wagging!

A bit on the large side, we believe Sammy is a combination of English and American Cocker. He has a wonderful temperament and is an all around perfect gentleman! He gets along very well with other dogs--of all sizes, knows basic commands (sit, shake, down), and loves to play ball! Sammy is also potty trained and walks well on a leash. From the minute he left the shelter, everyone has fallen in love with Sammy. We guarantee you will, too! For more information, please contact savak9@sbcglobal.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
