Cher--pending's Story...
This adorable petite girl is Cher, who came into our rescue with her brother Sonny. She is about 2 years old. The nice lady who pulled them from a very neglectful and abusive home renamed them to help them forget the bad memories from their old names. She was not loved nor fed and came into the warm rescue to be fattened up with hugs and regular meals! Her past has her a little scared of some of the dogs who bark as she walks by, she slinks to the ground and Velcro's herself to your leg until safely past, then is so happy she rolls over and shows you her little belly! Like her brother, she is a cuddly, kissey delight. Plays great with her brother Sonny, but as she is not spayed yet, we have held off on introducing her to other dogs. While she came in with Sonny, they do not have to adopt out together. This little sugar needs a wonderful "do over" for her life, won't you be the one to show her how great it can be?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cher--pending, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
