Sonny--pending's Story...
This sweet faced boy is Sonny, who came into our rescue with his sister, Cher. He is about 2 years old. The nice lady who pulled them from a very neglectful and abusive home renamed them to help them forget the bad memories from their old names. He was not loved nor fed and came into the warm rescue to be fattened up with hugs and regular meals! And Sonny is so grateful and sweet, despite his sad start in life. A cuddling, kissing delight to all who meet him. Loves his sister, who is a doll, but we have not tried him with other dogs yet as he came to us un-neutered, so introductions will wait until he is fixed up. While he did come in with his sister they do not have to be adopted out together. Such a sweet face, we challenge any die-hard black and tan lover to not fall in love with this wonderful boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny--pending, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
