Kayda's Story...
My name is Kayda! I am a 6 year old and 5lb chihuahua girl who's looking for a new family to love and adore me and my best friend, Kooz-Ko.

Kooz-ko does a great job in making sure I'm well protected - he goes up ahead of me and makes sure that there is nothing ahead I can fall into, and then comes back to tell me I can run and play. I watch out for him too, but he's a bit bigger than me so he thinks he doesn't need that much guarding. We're a good team!

Our Foster Mama says we are very sweet and mellow little dogs. We're pretty happy with that description, although we do like to play too! Our Foster Mama has two dogs of her very own that we can spend some time with which has been great!

All in all, we're pretty great dogs and would do very well in a family who wants to adore and dote on us. Kooz-Ko is neutered and current on his vaccines, and I am current on my vaccines and will be going in for a spay in the next week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kayda, a Edmonton Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
