My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is an enthusiastic, youngster that brings a lot of smiles to people's faces. He lived in a nice home with his owner and young child but when the loss of their home became a reality, they had no choice but to re-home Cooper. This tri-color, Dobie/ Hound cross is one and a half years old and was originally named after a character in the Dukes of Hazzard movie, but changed to Cooper. He is recommended for a home with children eight years and above because of his activity level and charisma. Cooper is not sure whether to be excited about all his new doggy friends or sad about losing his family, but he is more than ready to become a permanent member of a new family! He does know basic obedience commands, will heel nicely on lead, sit when you stop and come on command. He is equally social with other dogs (large and small), but a home with no kitties is necessary.
