Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Chloe. She is a love. Devoted to people. She gets along with the 7 dogs in her foster home. She is 6 years old. She wants to sit at your feet and be hugged. Her eyes say talk to me, love me. She rides well in the car and takes treats gently.
She does not get along with stray dogs who come into her yard. In true Pyrenees form she will protect her family. She is not a doggie park kind of dog. If you are interested in Chloe please visit our website at www.nepyresq.org
The beauty of a Great Pyrenees can take your breath away, but they are unique dogs which require dedicated owners who have thoroughly researched the traits of the breed. Feel free to visit our website at www.nepyresq.org for information to start your journey! Northeast Pyrenees Rescue only sponsors dogs from the Northeast including New Jersey for placement in homes in our region. If you are interested in meeting this pyrenees, please complete our application at http://www.nepyresq.org/page/adoption-application-36.html Please include any questions in the comments field of the application. Keep in mind that we are a volunteer organization and encourage serious inquiries only. Great Pyrenees are known for their barking as they were bred to be Livestock Guardians. HOWEVER, a dog not raised around farm animals does not automatically become an Livestock Guardian. They are trained from birth to do that job. If you need a working dog you should contact a reputable breeder for a trained dog. Find breeders at Great Pyrenees Club of America www.gpcaonline.org
