Shoni is a sweet girl rescued from a kill shelter. She is around a year old and still quite thin, but eating good now and gaining weight. She is fine with other dogs, loves all humans, but a bit uncertain when they first meet her she will come up then run away until they talk to her and assure her that they aren't going to hurt her, then she is so excited to be petted and loved on. She is very gentle and responsive to kindness and any corrections will make her stop instantly what she is doing. Verbal corrections are all that is needed with this sweetheart. She so wants to please.
She has had a litter of pups so must have bred on her first heat. We were told she was found with a litter of pups and all the pups were given away and she was brought to the shelter. Her coat was in bad shape and she clearly had not been treated well.
