My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A NOTE FROM HER FOSTER MOM:

(She is such a good girl. Once she decides you're ok, this dog is a rockstar. She seems to be house trained. Doesn't bark much (unless she needs to go out) and she walks on a leash perfectly. She is pretty calm- loves to lay on the bed and have her belly scratched but still enjoys going for a long walk too. She has really become quiet playful since the weather has cooled down and she loves to run. She has PERFECT house manners - never has had an accident. Truly I don't care what mix she is. I just know she is a sweet girl and I am enjoying having her here.)

Abby is sweet yet shy little girl. She was rescued from a kill shelter in KY. We believe she came from a hoarding situation. It takes her a little while to warm up, but when she does she's a little love bug! Her foster mom says now she will crawl up on her lap and snuggle with her. She loves to have her belly rubbed! The way to her heart is through her tummy too! She weighs about 20 pounds.

She does not like to be picked up. She also isn't a fan of getting wet. If I had gorgeous fur like that, I wouldn't want to mess it up either. She is doing so great with the baby she lives with. She loves to cuddle with him as he's napping.

She is ok with other dogs and is getting better around cats. She seems to prefer men over women, as she adores her foster dad! She is a very cautious dog, but warms up quickly.
