My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There is only one word to describe Murphy and that is AWESOME. Murphy is a handsome blond shepherd/lab mix, about 1 ½ years old and weighs 60 lbs. He found himself in a bad situation when he was picked up as a stray by an animal control officer. Murphy is now a Lucky Lab and is ready to go on to the better life that is ahead of him. He is a fun boy who likes to romp and play and just enjoys living. Murphy is great with other dogs and is very social. His favorite game is ‘catch me if you can’ or ‘who can get to the ball first.’ He would be considered medium energy. He would chase the kitty if it ran, but if the kitty held its ground, he would back down. Murphy is a smart boy and learns very quickly. He is eager to please his people and would be a great candidate for obedience classes. Murphy does well with people of all ages, including children. He would love nothing more than to run and tumble in the yard with the kids. And, if you are looking for that ‘let’s go for a walk or run’ companion, Murphy is your boy. He is a great boy and would make the perfect addition to any family. Murphy is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on his vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. He is also on flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative and crate trained. If you think your family would be a good match, please indicate Murphy in the notes section of the online application.
