My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MIA is a very intelligent and personable young lady. Upon meeting you she will conduct a brief interview to ensure you are trustworthy. Once you pass the test, she’s your pal! She is 8.5 lbs., about 10 months old and likely a Toy Manchester Terrier mix.She spent the night at the home of Dogs Forever's founders and enjoyed her "lap time." If you have a lap looking for a dog, Mia would love to interview you!

Our adoption fees are on a sliding scale; choose the amount that's right for you. Fees for senior dogs (7 years and older) are $90 to $125; fees for dogs 1-6 years are $125-$175; fees for dogs under 1 year of age are $150-$200.

If you are 65 years or older, the adoption fee is waived when you adopt a senior dog. All Dogs Forever dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper/parvo, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and microchipped.

DOGS FOREVER SAFE PLACE HAS MOVED! We are now located at 809 Rockford Road SW in Cedar Rapids, across from the outfield at Veterans Memorial Stadium. We are open everySaturday 11-3 and by appointment. Contactdogsforever@netins.net. Our new store is located next door to our shelter and sells cool stuff for dogs and people.
