My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a great little guy. He is sad to be in rescue, he really wants to be in a home. He was given up because the families toddler was just too rough on the dog and they were fearful the dog would eventually defend himself. He isn't aggressive at all, I have even put my hand into his food dish while he is eating and he doesn't react at all. I prefer that if he goes to a home with children that they be school age. He is 6 years old, which is still a young dog when it's a Dachshund. Lots of life left to live, lots of energy for playing, hiking, or even just walks around the neighborhood. He is a miniature Dachshund.
