Tristan's Story...
Tristin is a polite, affectionate girl looking for a loving new home. She will be following you around quietly begging for attention as much as she's able. Tristin will softly rub her cheeks against your pant leg or arm, looking for some love. She doesn't really like other cats but could likely live with a mellow male who won't bug her or try to boss her around. Dogs would also probably be fine, so long as they've been around cats before and know not to chase her. With Tristin's quiet, patient nature, she would also do will with children who are old enough to know to be gentle. If you'd like to meet this total lovebug, please head up to the front desk to fill out an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tristan, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
