Ashley's Story...
Ashley is a feisty Bobtail mix looking for a forever home. Like most little ones, she will have what seems like never-ending energy. To help with that, it would be best for her to live with another male cat or kitten who will keep her company and she will need lots of toys and perches to stimulate her mind. Ashley is pretty confident and could live with children who are old enough to be gentle with her growing body and even a dog that has lived with a cat before and knows not to chase them. Ashley would enjoy the occasional cuddle when she isn't in one of her playful moods, but she will spend most of her time chasing toys and pouncing on anything she can. If you think this cutie is right for you, please head up to the front desk to fill out an adoption application so you can meet her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashley, a Bellingham American Bobtail kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bobtail for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a American Bobtail kitten from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bobtail breeders who help with American Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
