My name is Blue Star (you can call me ‘Star’) and I’m the sweetest blue pittie you’ll ever come across! At just under two years old, there’s still plenty of puppy in me…and I LOVE to play!! I get along great with all of the other dogs…big or small, high or low energy, dominant or submissive. I don’t discriminate, I play with them ALL and I will play with you too! I get along just as well with every person I meet…kids are my favorite!
Life threw me a few curveballs early as I wound up stuck on about half an acre of land between the feeder roads and highways at a major Houston highway interchange! I had given birth to two puppies that I was not able to keep alive due to being starved nearly to death myself. I walked up & down the freeway’s edge begging for food and that’s how I managed to survive. Now I’m big, fat and happy and I enjoy every second life has to offer!
I’m crate trained and great on a leash…so no reason we can’t go on long walks every day! I do know my name and will come, when called, if there’s not something too interesting going on at that time! I’m very eager to please my humans and have very quickly learned to sit and lay down. There’s an old injury to my back leg that you may notice from time to time but I have learned to work around it and it doesn’t slow me down one bit (you should see me chasing the other dogs…they don’t notice either!). I promise I will make you smile daily and will do everything in my power to show you why ‘Pit Bull’ is one of the best labels a dog can have!
