Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peggy – Shiba Inu/Corgi Mix
It is hard to resist the sweet face of this medium sized tan fur ball. Weighing about 35 - 40 lbs the vet believes she is a Corgi mix but her lush coat is soft and very thick and does not shed heavily. She is a young dog about 1 to 2 years old and is in perfect health and waiting for her new family to come and take her home.
Peggy is a very friendly dog and is good with people of all ages. She is also good with other pets and enjoys romping in the yard with the other dogs. She is a quiet dog, clean and obedient but she will need some additional leash training as do most of the dogs that have been in the shelter environment for any length of time. It is obvious that she was once someone’s pet and she has no signs of abuse or neglect.
She is an affectionate dog who loves attention and is happy to meet everyone. She greets you with a wagging tail and a smile and is very gentle with her kisses.
Peggy is a mid-sized dog that would do well in just about any situation. Just a cuddly little clown this girl is definitely a good choice for a family with time for play.
