Missy's Story...
Come. Come, look into my big, soulful brown eyes and let me tell you all about me. I am a saucy Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a beautiful brindle coat and a long tail. I’m only 3 and a petite female at 15 lbs. Before BTRNC saved me, I spent every day a hustlin' the streets. At first, I wasn’t keen on other dogs or people. A little time and patience though has shown me that both humans and canines are legit, the real deal and worth my attention. I’m in constant motion (mostly chasing my tail which I do to entertain others. You’re welcome). I’m potty and crate-trained and know many verbal commands. I’m happy, playful and carefree, but more importantly, I’m ready for my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Greensboro Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
