My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

After we got Brittany groomed, we discovered a pooch who might be a purebred miniature Schnauzer underneath (no guarantees...what do you think?). We estimate this cutie to be a year old and best described as a loving bundle of energy! She is full grown at 16 pounds - a nice manageable size.

We’re guessing that her former owner skipped puppy obedience classes, but she is quick to learn and eager to please, and has begun learning the rules of the road in her foster home. Brittany is great with people and loves everyone she meets. She also she likes other dogs, but not all dogs will welcome her spirited puppy enthusiasm and energy.

Brittany’s foster mom reports that she is not having accidents in the house but she is getting her out often, and she is making good progress learning how to walk on the gentle leader leash.

Brittany would do best in a home with a fenced yard and active humans who will provide outlets for her energy. With that supplied, you will see the “chill” side of this loving little girl who will lay at your feet or in her doggy bed while you are just hanging out or busy doing something else that doesn’t involve her. Please keep in mind that this little pooch will require regular grooming so you should be prepared to learn dog grooming or be able to have her groomed by a pro on a regular basis.

Brittany's adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exam, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, flea & tick preventative, rabies vaccination, heartworm test (neg.) deworming, microchip and spay. And it includes her recent shampoo, blow dry, brush out and bang trim!
