RUSTY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Meet Rusty, a 12 year old male Rat Terrier in need of a loving family! Poor Rsuty has found himself homeless after his elderly owner passed away leaving behind her beloved companions, Rusty and an Puggle named Dozer. Dozer has found a new family, however Rusty is still waiting. He is a very sweet and happy guy that has been well cared for and spoiled his entire life. Like most Terriers, he still has a lot of spunk for his age and definitely a lot of love left to give. He does well with other dogs and has also lived with children in the past. He was also reported to be housetrained, but may need a brief refresher after living in a kennel. Please give this senior guy a chance, he would love a nice home to spend his golden years in! Rusty is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from a kill-shelter in southern IL. We would love to help him out, but all of our foster homes are filled. If interest is shown in him, Rusty can be transported to Chicago. He will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption.
