Jem's Story...
Jem was born on September 23, 2007. She is now 8 weeks old and looking for his new home. She has been with their loving mother Angel, and whelp in an indoor only house. She is great with children, there are 4 children that play with him all day in his foster home. She need to go to an indoor only household, due to being so little, and not use to being outside, especially since it is getting very cold outside at night.

To meet/adopt Jem, please visit our website at www.utahlabrescue.com to fill out our online application. Thanks

The Puppies adoption fee is $300.00. Their adoption fee goings into a pooled Lab Medical Fund that helps pay for all 3 rounds of puppy shots, de-wormings, microchip, spay/neuter, started on heartworm preventative, and/or anything the puppies might need before adoption.

All the puppies will have their medical exam, first shots and de-worming at the time of adoption. You will receive a medical voucher for our Vet in Provo or Salt Lake to finish their last 2 sets of shots, de-wormings, microchip, and their spay/neuter. All puppies must be spay/neutered before they are 6 months of age, and you can schedule your own appointments with our vets on the medical voucher to get this done when its best for you.

Adopters also get coupons from PetsMart, and discounts on dog training in both Utah and Salt Lake Counties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jem, a Provo Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
