Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Clinton – Clinton was first spotted in a remote industrial area in Houston's East End. He was thin with skin issues and was not approachable. Finally, the person who was leaving him food and water was able to trap him and get him vetted. Since he did not have a foster, he ended up in boarding.
We speculate that Clinton was born and lived in a remote area his entire life so was not used to being around people However, since he was rescued, he has changed completely. He has slowly grown to trust and like people. It has been wonderful to observe his transformation from a timid, frightened dog into a confident, friendly one.
Clinton is about 1-1½ years old and has been fully vetted and neutered. His skin condition was treated and he has completely recovered. He has been living in boarding since his rescue but we think he ready to go into a home. A foster to adopt situation for him would be ideal. He gets along with other dogs but we have not tested him around cats. To learn more about him, please contact tauna@barriodogs.org.
