George's Story...
Hi, I'm George! I'm a 12 year old Rat Terrier looking for a nice, cozy home for me and my partner in crime Weezie! I'd say that out of the two of us, I got the looks and Weezie got the brains (just don't tell her I said that!). I'm just a big goof ball, I don't like to take life to seriously. Weezie just sits there and rolls her eyes at my silly antics, wondering how she ever got stuck with a character like me. Anyways,we make a great pair and once you come and see us you won't be able to leave with out us! Ask our friends at the shelter for a visit today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Muskegon Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
