Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For anyone looking to have fun with their dog, then Darcy is your girl! She is very smart & eager to please and would make an excellent therapy or agility dog! Darcy is an 8-9 year old greyhound/retriever mix. This poor girl was found as a stray so we have no information on her background. Darcy is a very clever girl. In just a few days she learned to sit, give a paw and do a “down” and she has excellent recall. She is a very sweet girl who loves to give kisses and cuddle with her people. She also loves to play fetch...not with a ball but squeaky toys! Yes, she brings them back! She loves to go for walks and we are pretty sure she would make a great jogging or hiking partner. Darcy also loves to travel with you in the car. Although fine with dogs (she lives with many others) she occasionally takes issue if a dog growls or gets too excited. She might best with a very submissive dog(s) or even as an only dog. She has been fine with the cats. She is a polite and well-mannered girl who really just wants to be with her people. She would do very well in an active household with a large yard for her to run and play. She responds happily to training. To find out more about Darcy, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. Thanks for visiting with Darcy!
