Prieta's Story...
Prieta is a beautiful girl, that LOVES, LOVES toys! She's a beautiful choclate brown staffordshire mix who was abandoned at the vets when we offered medical help for her. The owner never came and picked her up and she had been waiting for over 2 weeks when we realized we would have to find her a new home. She was great at the vet and did well with other dogs. She is shy at first but comes out of her shell when she is offered a toy! This is an urgent case as we didnt know she would be coming into the program, but now, as it seems she is abandoned, we need to find her somewhere fast! Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prieta, a Houston American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
