Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bear! We hope you enjoy the video! Bear is a beautiful boy, who is a loveable, friendly, outgoing boy. He has lovely soft, silky, thick fur that you can run your fingers through. He was born around 12/14/2013, weighs around 30 pounds, and although breed is just a guess we think she may be a Corgi/Schipperke Mix. Bear is being fostered together in Oswego which is where you would go to meet her after an adoption application is submitted and reviewed. If you would like to see more videos and pictures of Bear, go to facebook and search for Central Bark Doggy Day Care in Oswego. That's where Bear is being fostered. DO NOT contact them. They are only fostering. You need to follow the rescue protocol and complete an adoption application to meet the pups. Thank you!
Bear was surrendered by his owner to another rescue because of a divorce. The other rescue could not take them back because of space issues, so we offered to take him. The previous owner said they are both house trained, they were raised with a 6 year old girl. I'm sorry we don't know about felines.
If you'd like to add Bear to your family and give her the forever home she deserves, please go to www.angelsonwheels.org and fill out the application. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it's in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, we may get an application.
Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and friends, and we thank you in advance for your patience.
The adoption fee of $250.00 includes: The neutering which is already done, we recently completed a fecal test which was negative, heartworm test which was negative, microchip, up-to-date on routine vaccination for distemper-adenovirus-parainfluenze-parvo, rabies vaccinated, treated with either revolution for the prevention of fleas and hearworm. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Woodridge Animal Hospital, Wheaton Animal Hospital, Naperville Animal Hospital, and a coupon booklet for Petco.
Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
Applicants wishing to adopt a dog or puppy are carefully screened prior to adoption. Please complete our detailed pre-adoption questionnaire located at http://www.angelsonwheels.org and provide references to be considered for adoption. Once references have been checked and the applicants are approved, subject to satisfactory references, you will be able to schedule a meet and greet with the foster family.
The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, microchip, up to date for Distemper-Adenovirus-Parainfluenza-Parvo, heartworm tested/lyme tested age appropriate, rabies vaccinated if over 4 months, dewormed with panacur, treated with Revolution or Front-Line Plus along with any other medical needs. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Wheaton Animal Hospital, and Woodridge Animal Hospital, as well as a training dvd, and tons of coupons for Petco, and a coupon for Central Bark Doggie Daycare: 10% off a purchase of a ten visit daycare package.
Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them.
Thank you for looking at our rescued animals and wanting to give them a wonderful home.
