My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gilbert is coming to A Positive Promise from a far away land known as Mississippi :) Gilbert is coming from the Jackson County Animal Shelter. It is the home town shelter of one of our dedicated volunteers and fosters. She saw a picture of Gilbert and fell in love! We immediately went to work and decided that we would do whatever necessary to save him. Gilbert is a 1-2 year old pit bull mix. He is a stellar dog who loves everyone he meets, including other dogs and cats. He will be up for adoption in PA after he settles into his foster home.
Gilbert will be transported by Rescue Road Trips and go right to his foster home in Philadelphia, PA.

Thank you to everyone from his shelter that has donated so far! We are very excited to get to know Gilbert and get him ready for his forever home. But from what we've been hearing about him, we think he'll be ready in no time!
