My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vinny - 5 year old male Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle. We think Vinny is a Schnoodle (Miniature Schnauzer/Toy poodle). He has classic salt/pepper coloring but very poodley fur. Unfortunately his beard was shaved off (we saw photos of him before and he looked much more schnoodley with a beard). Vinny was rescued from a high kill shelter, he had been at the shelter for about 7 weeks and had apparently been confiscated. Reading through his paperwork the poor little guy has been in and out of the shelter since April. He first arrived as a stray in late April and then adopted early May. Then on at the end of July he was confiscated at vets office suspected being poisoned by human drugs (paperwork listed about 6 different possible Rx drugs that the owners said they had). We don't have the full story on why he was confiscated. As we aren't sure if the poisoning was intentional or by accident. Or maybe the owner didn't want to pay the vet bill. Its also unclear on how long they held him but one thing that is clear this poor guy has been in and out of the shelter system since April. Sweet little guy that loves to cuddle and follow you around. He ok with dogs but doesn't engage much with them, much more focused on his humans. He probably wouldn't do well with small children as he won't tolerate rough handling. Vinny is a petite little guy at around 8 pounds and cute as a button.
