Remy's Story...
Thank you for looking at me! I am so glad to be here in the cool northeast....Louisiana was hot and momma was not happy when she was in the shelter. We were so close to being born too! SO lucky for us, that nice lady came to get us, and momma gave birth to us two days later! We were well cared for, vetted and then Little Paws 4 U (a licensed rescue in RI) transported us from Louisiana to RI. I am here now, with my litter mates. We were born on July 20th and I am the smallest of the males in the litter. I am all black, and my ears are totally cute, wouldn't you say? Momma is right around 10 pounds and I should be about that when grown. I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my puppy needs. Older, respectful (only!!) children are fine, as would be another, small and non-aggressive dog. My fee of 385. covers transport to RI, a Health Certificate, my first set of shots and I have a collar and blanket as well. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, Maine, or are near Boston, Worcester or Fall River. Please call Judy with any further questions at 401 640-0082. Would LOVE a fur-ever home!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remy, a Foster Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Foster, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
