Yakov's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Yakov's Story...
Our Russian Blue boys were dropped off in a box at a local high kill shelter. Thankfully one of our volunteers was able to go pick them up before they were euthanized due to lack of shelter space. These boys are full of energy to say the least! They all have gorgeous smokey grey coats and each have unique individual personalities. We estimate the boys at around 11 weeks old. They are scheduled to be neutered and vaccinated on 9/19.

Yakov is the runt of the litter. He has short hair and a nub tail. He is also the most shy of the litter and could use a quiet home with extra attention and socialization. He would love to be adopted with one of his brothers so he has someone to keep him company or would do best if there is another cat in the house.

Adoption fees for kittens are $95. Adoption fees for adult cats are $65. There is a discounted adoption rate if you adopt a pair. All felines are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, flea treated, and UTD on vaccinations prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yakov, a Battle Creek Russian Blue kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Russian Blue kitten from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
