My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jelly Bean and her siblings were surrendered to our rescue after their owner lost her job and could no longer take care of them. The pup's mom was dumped while pregnant with her previous litter which is about 1 yr. old now.

They had had little attention, but have come around quickly. They taught themselves the doggie door and are doing very well with housebreaking. She loves a good belly rub!

Jelly Bean is the smallest of the litter. She has short, stubby legs and an elongated body like a doxie. Her coat is wirey. Both eyes are blue. She loves playing with toys! She weighs aprx. 12 pounds now and should mature to a medium size dog, perhaps 30 pounds. Her coat is wirey.

Jelly Bean has had two parvo/distemper shots, bordatella vaccine, and rabies shot. She will need 1 additional puppy shot in the series and will need to be spayed around 6 mo. of age. She is 15 wks. old (born 6/15/13)

No children under the age of 8

No apartment renters

She is in foster care in east Tennessee and will be transported north upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport which charges $125 for their services. They have several convenient stops in New England (CT, VT or ME) A reasonable adoption fee will be charged by the rescue to cover the cost of her vetting.
