My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ritz and his siblings were surrendered to our rescue after their owner lost her job and could no longer take care of them. The pup's mom was dumped while pregnant with her previous litter which is about 1 yr. old now.

They had had little attention, but have come around quickly. They taught themselves the doggie door and are doing very well with housebreaking.

Ritz is the smallest of the litter. He weighs aprx. 13 pounds and his face will melt you when he gazes your way. He is shy, but is coming around. He loves affection. He has the "low rider" look, short legs, elongated body of a doxie. His coat is smooth, not wiry as the other litter mates. He was born 6/15/13 so is aprx. 4.5 mo. old.

Ritz has had two parvo/distemper shots, bordatella vaccine, and rabies shot. He will need 1 additional puppy shot in the series . He is neutered.

No children under the age of 8

No apartment renters

He is in foster care in east Tennessee and will be transported north upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport which charges $125 for their services. They have several convenient stops in New England (CT, VT or ME)His adoption fee is $250.00.
