Minnie Pearl's Story...
Minnie Pearl is a sweet little lady that was found as a stray and taken to animal control. He time was up there so we take took her into foster because she is too sweet to pass up! She has obviously been a house dog and loves to sleep on the couch. She is house trained, leash trained, and well behaved. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and on preventative. She is quiet and would do best in a calm house with someone she can sit on the couch next to. :) (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie Pearl, a Allentown Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
