THIS IS OLYMPIA.....a tan/cream with gray tips on her ears, 11 lb, 4 yr old, Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix, who came from the dreaded Devore shelter. Her coat was sparse and very dirty when she arrived; no question she had not been properly cared for :( and we have no idea what she was eating! Now, she is eating like the princess she is! She was deemed Rescue Only at the shelter, but we have yet to figure out why. Olympia is a fiesty girl, but there isn't a mean bone in her body! She is very loving and likes to play with and mother the younger dogs. She interacts well with people and is very friendly. No fears at all. She definitely would like to have another canine in her life to be a companion and pal around with, as she does like to play. She also is good with cats, and would be fine in an active, mature home, so perhaps a kitty is in her future! She is a nice balance of mellow and calm and play -- she is not yappy or vocal -- she loves toys and gives lots of kisses to show her bliss! She would be fine with kids over 8 yrs old....and she seems to be potty trained thru a doggie door at our foster's house....but no guarantees at yours! This is a great, fun loving girl, who truly needs a home that will nurture and love her. Is Olympia calling your name?
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at Westfield Century City Mall from 12p-4pm behind the Concierge Booth near Brooks Bros. Park in the Orange Section in the parking structure and come up the escallator and follow the signage. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
