Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cinnamon is in a kill pound (NOT WITH US)
we do not have the right foster for her
if you feel you can foster her until the right home comes along email us now

If you decide you take her in as foster you must be capable of dealing with the "bad" as well as some rehab which we can help with suggestions
you must be dog experienced specially with small dogs
Schnitzel would do best with someone that is a natural alpha leader so there won't be any "problems" and a home that does not have a lot of foot traffic and must have another small outgoing dog she can learn from to get confidence to help her fear go away
it's all possible done so with many dogs
rehabilitation works great with dogs a good routine and a willing patient owner
are you the one that can save her life
see our foster info at
www.sadt.info
Cinnamon can most likely be transported to the SAC area for the right foster or if adopted it must be through our rescue
Those little things can all be fixed with the right person and right environment as stated a alpha leader
Cinnamon suppose to die today at 5pm FRI sep 20th
we just found out so are posting this
and will try to hold it off til MON if they will
hopefully someone that reads this will, care enough to save her
don't count on us it won't happen without the right foster
2 year old female Beagle X Dachshund 20 lbs.
Cinnamon was surrendered because the owners decided they didn't have time for her any longer. The got her from a CL ad 7 months ago. She is inside all day, but sometimes has accidents. She is crate trained. Her owners marked that she does not like small children and that she barks and growls at strangers. Unfortunately, Cinnamon is not an adoption candidate due to unpredictable behavior during her evaluation- she was ok with the evaluator most of the time, but would get spooked and hide under the table and growl at him. Cinnamon is paired up with other little dogs and doing well
